Joanne Thibadeau, Suzuki Method violin teacher at Ithaca Talent Education School for twenty-one years.  Mrs. Thibadeau did her Suzuki Pedagogy training with Sandy and Joan Reuning and Judy Weigert Bossuat. 

She teaches in the individual and group class settings, supervises student teachers from Ithaca College, and acts as registrar for ITE.  She is the Associate Director of the Ithaca College summer Suzuki and Chamber Music Institutes. 

Prior to this, Mrs. Thibadeau had a private violin studio in Troy, NY and worked as Publicity Manager for the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs, NY.

She also taught music for five years in the public schools (with permanent NYS Certification) and has performed in a variety of free-lance professional settings.  Mrs. Thibadeau is a graduate of the Crane School of Music at the State University College, Potsdam, NY. 

She has two sons and one miniature Dachshund.
