Our Programs

INDIVIDUAL Lessons

One-on-one, student centered lessons every week with student, parent and teacher present. This is an opportunity to cultivate technique, repertoire, and learning principles. Your teacher will work with you to create a specific plan for practice to continue learning at home. Parents will have the special opportunity to witness their child working with an expert to learning and building skills in real time.

GROUP CLASSES

An instrument specific lesson with a group of peers each Saturday morning. Group classes are designed to envelop students in a vast music community and develop expert ensemble skills.

Orchestras

We offer a string orchestra experience to our intermediate and advanced students. The orchestra curriculum reinforces note reading, musicianship, and ensemble skills with engaging music and conductors— preparing students for success in their school orchestra program, Youth Orchestra, and beyond.

ADVANCED ENSEMBLES

The culminating group class for each instrument is an advanced touring ensemble. These musicians perform at the highest artistic level and have shared their music in local community concerts as well as on domestic and international tours.

chamber Groups

Advanced students are invited to join chamber groups coached by ITE faculty members. They explore the rich chamber music repertoire, from Beethoven to Bartok, and learn how to work closely with one another.
